The best holiday/concert ever


When I was 18 years old I travelled to the south of Chile, specifically to the big island of Chiloé. The island has three small cities: Ancud at the north, Castro in the middle and Quellon at the south. All the cities are too beautiful, they have large and deep forests. Along the way you can find cows, horses, sheep and many others animals. The island is so green and the sea is so blue! When I travelled I went with my parents and my little sister, we ate chapalele, a typical food of that zone. When we went to the Ancud downtown my mom bought a lot of pounds of wool because she loves knitting. She mades hats and scarfs for me and my sister.

Definitely I would like to come back to that beautiful and magically place because it's unique and I’m so thankfull to live in a wonderful country with diverse landscapes.

    I never go yo the south of Chile, I imagine that would be fantastic. Can you talk me obout "chapalele"? I think that is a name so interesting.

    I would like to go to Chiloé too, my mom talked to me about this place and this is really beautifull.

    I love Chiloé. When I went I fell in love with the nature and the weather... Is a splendid place to rest and fin calm.

My future job

I love books, I’ve always thought the books are very special objects. There were a lot of books in my house, and also in my grandparent’s house. And although I really like reading, I love watching books. In this way, is too interesting for me make books. Is not very easy and requires so much practice, but is a really special and (sometimes) personal process. For this reason when I graduate as a designer I would love to work in a publishing house and design many books of different themes. In particular, I would like to make large books full of photographs and/or illustrations, with drop-down pages and innovative covers. I would pay close attention to the type of paper to be used, ideally it will be recycled and the creation of these books has a low enviromental impact. Personally I think it is very important to take care about our trees and the water. They are elementary natural finite resources for life. Simon, the blind cat

Hi, there! Today I am going to talk about a cat, a blind cat, my cat, Simon. Simon is a cat that I found in the street, specifically in December, 7th of the last year. It was sick, it had running nose, and it was malnourished. That day was very hot, and the cat was sitting down in tree. I saw it, and I though "This little cat is very sick" and I couldn't bear to see the cat like that. I picked it up without knowing how I would explain to my mom that I adopted a cat, a sick cat.  To my surprise my mom was so happy and proud of me, she gave me all her support to take care of Simon. Finally, Simon got better and now it is a stronger and healthy cat, but because of the infection it became permanently blind. Altough that was never an impediment for Simon to be a very active and a happy cat.

Postgraduates studies

Hi! How are you? Today I’m going to write about the postgraduates studies that are interesting for me. In first place I have to tell you my mom is a cartographer, so I have seen maps since I was a child. I think they are so beautiful, interesting and an important object. And yes, you have Google Maps on your phone, but I think is not the same! In addition maps are useful for graphically teaching us other things, not just to help us locate. So I think I would like to study something about the design of maps and, in this way, specialize in that area of design. Another interest I have talked about before is my love for books, for making books. So I would love to study some magister about editorial design. My favorite hobbies in the world are the photography and travel and I would like to capture the love I have for these two activities through a book. It is so sad that, at least in Chile, there are virtually no postgraduate studies in photography ☹ However, I am very happy to be
